On October 20, 2018, the Frontiers of Flight Museum held the first Apollo 50th Anniversary Celebration when we honored friend of the Museum, Apollo 7 Lunar Module Pilot Walt Cunningham. Apollo 7 holds the distinction as the first manned flight in the Apollo program. Pictured left to right are astronauts Harrison Schmitt (Apollo 17), Joe Engle (X-15 Test Pilot, STS-2 & 51-1), Charlie Duke (Apollo 16), Tom Stafford (Gemini 6, Gemini 9, Apollo 10, & Apollo-Soyuz Test Project), Rusty Schweickart (Apollo 9), Bill Anders (Apollo 8), Walt Cunningham (Apollo 7), Mary Ellen Weber (STS-70 & STS-101), and Bob Crippen (STS-1, 7, 41-C & 41-G)
