Purple silk underdress embroidered in gold thread and sequins. Orange silk squares under the arms, lined inside with red silk. No hole is cut out at the neck, label sewn near the neck with handwritten note in ink, "224." Large red silk harem dress embroidered with gold thread and sequins. There is no hole at the neck. Dresses presented to FDR in February 1945 by King Abdulaziz Al-Saud (Ibn Saud) during their meeting on the Great Bitter Lake. FDR Library Museum Collection, MO 1947.93.494 & MO 1947.93.495.
