Archaeological Site Stobi

Stobi, referred by the Roman author Titus Livius as urbs vetus at the confluence of the Axios and Erigon Rivers. The largest city in the north of the Roman province of Macedonia, later capital of Macedonia Secunda and an Early Christian centre.
