Both a toy and a construction manual, Armando Casas was developed for families living in Cuernavaca shantytowns. This instrument builds on existing knowledge in these communities and introduces insights from the work of, among others, Carlos González Lobo, and Cano+Vera Arquitectura. Armando Casas teaches children how buildings are put together, and helps adults plan for their houses’ future growth.
