These staggered granite blocks form the Armenian Alphabet monument, built in a sacred geometric shape representing Christ and the conversion of the Armenian people to Christianity in 301 CE. The Armenian alphabet emerged as a result of this conversion. The reverse side of the monument features 33 names of notable men and women of Armenia.
