Army Book 303 was the attestation register for all members of the Wagoners’ Special Reserve. It records their height (some were under the minimum Army height requirement of 5' 3"), weight, colour of hair and complexion (all are recorded as having fresh complexions owing to their outdoor life) as well as age and home address.
The book is preserved in the Museum of the Wagoners’ Special Reserve at Sledmere.
