  • Notes: I arrive at the intersection of Marlborough St and Onslow Rd where Patu group is getting organised and into formation under the observation of regular police officers. Further down Onslow Rd on the left by the intersection with Kowhai St is a police roadblock complete with bins and a Red Squad cordon. In the background are #13 and #15 Onslow Rd. Just a note that the clown in a striped costume gets batoned as the finale to the street battle that develops over the next hour in this area. (see film 9 frame 74 & 76, proof frames 14 & 15).
