ASC Silk Postcard

In 1914, the Wagoners' Reserve joined existing military units, including the Army Service Corps and the Royal Engineers, as there was no specific “wagoner” unit. Later on in the war, many Wagoners were transferred to front line units such as the Durham Light Infantry.
