S97-06565 (1997) --- Astronaut C. Michael Foale, mission specialist/cosmonaut guest researcher Mir 23/24 flight engineer.

EDITOR?S NOTE: Astronaut Foale will launch aboard the Space Shuttle Atlantis, STS-84 mission, to board the Russia?s Mir Space Station. After a long duration of cosmonaut guest researcher duties, he will return to Earth aboard the Space Shuttle Atlantis STS-86 mission.
