At the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, the Soyuz TMA-04M spacecraft is rotated to a horizontal position as technicians monitor the operation May 8, 2012 for the vehicle’s encapsulation into the Soyuz booster upper stage in advance of the launching of three new crewmembers to the International Space Station. The Soyuz will carry Soyuz Commander Gennady Padalka, NASA Flight Engineer Joe Acaba and Flight Engineer Sergei Revin to the orbital complex on May 15 for a four-month mission. The Soyuz will rollout to its launch pad in Baikonur on May 13.
