"Attack and Fire of Canudos"

From the 1st to the 5th of October the final fights took place. After being heavily attacked, the Arraial de Canudos, including houses and temples, was set on fire, under the orders of the high command of the army. The fire hit the last refugees and a scenario of pain and destruction was reported by the war correspondents.
