Awl (Chisel)

Alw (Chisel) made of iron and wood from Ade tree as a handle. The metal part was forged by the blacksmith, Guyo Payo and the handle was cut and shaped with Qoto by Wakio Halkano himself. An Ura is used for making holes, fastening strings of skin, in wooden objects like Koke, Sorora and Damela etc. The hole is made by using the Ura as a chisel i.e, hitting at the end with a mallet in form of a piece of wood and also by heating the ura in fire and creating a hole with it.
