The B-163 anti-ship missile launcher belonged to the coastal S-2 Sopka/4K87 complex operated by the 9th Coastal Artillery Division of the Polish Navy. Its steel structure was mounted on a two-axle chassis with eight wheels and a hinged towing drawbar. Equipped with folding stabilizing legs and a turntable allowing a 174° traverse, it measured over 12 meters in length and reached a height of up to 3.76 meters when loaded.
