Bamboo and Rock

In the ink painting Bamboo and Rock (竹石图) , the ink bamboo trees behind the rocks are swinging with the wind. The leaves possess shades of different colors, and trees stand with confidence. The author’s talent of Chinese calligraphy is fully showed in the painting. He stuck to the regulation of ink painting but express his idea at will. He conveyed pure elegance of a scholar's life style by depicting the inner beauty of bamboo.
