One of the most widespread plants around the world in humid and tropical places, banana is mentioned in the Noble Qur’an as one of the plants of Paradise. One of the interesting facts about the banana is that it does not have a true stem. Rather, it is an intertwining of petioles of large banana leaves to give a false stem.
