Banner: "Holy Flag, Be Our Bond"

Cultural-educational societies, especially the economically stronger ones, also developed their own banners.

On display are two richly embroidered banners of societies from Trieste. The choral society Adrija from Barcola was founded in 1889 and developed its banner ten years later; the choral society Ilirija near San Giacomo in Trieste is younger – it was founded in 1906 and developed its banner a year later.
