In 1899, the pharmacist Salvador Andreu promoted an urbanization project for the Tibidabo mountain, proposing the creation of a tram line, a funicular and an amusement park, constituting the Limited Company for this purpose on February 20, 1899. Walt Disney said that the Tibidabo Amusement Park was one of the most magical places he had ever been, a fact that made him take inspiration from it when he devised his own theme parks. In addition, in 1957 he wanted to buy the Tibidabo automata collection with a blank check, but the company refused to sell them
