Milena Lah was born in 1920 in Sv. Križ by Ajdovščina. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, and was an assistant in the master workshop of Vanja Radauš from 1949 to 1950. She received numerous awards and recognitions for her work. She died in Zagreb in 2003.
