The great hall at Basildon Park, the English country house of Lord Edward Langton Iliffe and Lady Renee Iliffe. A large early English carpet covers the floor; Chinese bronzes decorate the room; the ceiling is made of scrolled plasterwork; the doors are gilded mahogany.
