Battle of Britain Portraits: Flight Lieutenant W L B Walker AE

Stuart is a practising artist living and working in East London, he grew up in Eastbourne. He studied at the Slade School of Fine Art and won the BP Portrait Award in 1998. He has exhibited at the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool (John Moores), The Geffrye Museum, London, Jerwood Space, London and the National Portrait Gallery. His work is included in the collections of the British Museum, Government Art Collection, the Rhode Island School of Design Museum USA, and the Baring Bank collection, Brussels. He is represented by Rifflemaker gallery. Stuart graduated from The Drawing Year in 2004
