A topographic-battlefield sketch depicting one of the engagements of the Great Northern War (1700–1721), fought between the Swedish forces of Charles XII and the army of Stanisław Leszczyński against the troops loyal to the rightful king, Augustus II the Strong, who were supported by Russian forces. The battle took place on the fields near Kalisz, in the areas of Dobrzec (Dobrc), Kościelna Wieś, and Warszówka, on October 29, 1706.
