In 2011, the BBC launched 'Domesday Reloaded'. For the first time, the contents of the Domesday Project Community Disc were made available online. The public were able to contribute new images and text which would be published alongside the originals. To honour the 25th anniversary of the original Domesday Project, The National Museum of Computing (TNMOC) unveiled a new multimedia Touchtable exhibition hosting the Domesday application, allowing up to four users simultaneously to explore in maps, pictures, stories, videos and comments a wealth of UK location-specific information from 1986 and 2011.
