This is a gourd made from calabash and obtained from Silangwa plant. It is extracted and left in the sun for almost a week to get completely ripen after which the mouth is cut and warmed in the fire. The mouth is closed and left in the sun so that its contents get rotten. After three to four days, the contents removed and the gourd is washed with ashes and finally with water. It is used by men to prepare honey beer.
