Beethoven's funeral procession in front of the former Black Spanish monastery in Vienna

On March 29, 1827, a huge crowd of people gathers to give Ludwig van Beethoven his last convoy. In the background of this watercolour you can see the Schwarzspanierkirche. Just to the right of it, Beethoven lived. His apartment is the only one at whose windows no people can be seen.
