Before the Mural

When bushes and weeds were cleared during the development of the Metropolitan-Branch Trail (MBT), near Rhode Island Avenue metro station, layers of graffiti were unearthed on the back walls along the route. Here, a low supporting wall has a jumble of tags, bubble letters and graffiti characters.
