Belgian comic book character Tintin is always on the move, so it’s only fitting that the country’s showcase honours his colourful legacy. The Belgium Pavilion at Expo 2020 offers a unique comics-inspired tour of the future of mobility, letting you see yourself as a character as you explore smart infrastructure, self-driving vehicles and more. The pavilion’s lush, curved exterior takes the form of a “green arch”, which uses sustainable technologies to produce more energy than it uses. Inside, you’ll dive into a fun comic-strip world of interactive walls and expeditions into the Belgium of 2050.
