Jakarta, Indonesia

This Belincung stone axe serves as another example of Beliung Neolithic tools. After close examination of its sharp edges, it seems as if this piece was used for barter or as a burial gift. There is a raised section in the centre of its back, and a display of a half circle, triangle or hexagon on its body. The agate stone is severely honed and highly polished, allowing a look to the inner textures of this semi precious stone.
