Reviving an ancient tradition, on the occasion of the company's 125th anniversary, the idea of creating a modern perspective view of the Pedrignano area was realized, which in 2002 became the only operating plant in the municipality of Parma. The choice of drawing, in the age of images and photography, allows for a series of significant details to be clearly "displayed" while also selectively "focusing," leaving out unimportant details. The creator of the new, large-scale original panel (110x250 cm) is Loreno Confortini, a Modena-based artist with extensive experience in historical architectural views and a contributor to major national magazines. He created the image of the "Pedrignano Farm" after three months of work, a flight, and numerous ground inspections. The view was then "updated" by Confortini himself for the first time in 2018 and then in 2020, adding new systems, extensions and transformations so as to convey, at a single glance, the vastness and complexity of the "City of Pasta".
