A pencil sketch from the sketchbook of Sarah Jametta Crigan (Mrs Hodgkinson), the daughter of Bishop Crigan (1784-1813) and author of 'Memoirs of Major Charles Crigan' (her brother) Liverpool, 1864. Unsigned. By the same hand as the work ref. 1959-0334/7. Perhaps copied about 1825 from a pre-1814 watercolour, this drawing seems to be the original from which the unique litho of 'Bishopscourt in 1813' was done. The style much resembles that of Lady Sarah Murray's lithos.
