“This updated version of 'Blancs d'y voir' has been reworked to fit a new troop of NDT 2 dancers, thereby involving them in the creative process (even if the work as a whole is not a new piece). I am a believer in the word repertoire if it means keeping choreographic work alive - that is; maleable, capable of change and evolution, and adapting to a new environment every time it is brought back to life. This piece was also danced by the Batsheva Dance Company of Tel Aviv, and for whom I tailor-made it to fit their particular needs as I am today for a new NDT 2. The piece is constructed like an abstract mosaic patchwork; each episode has its own dynamic and meaning. The work as a whole is held together by the dancers' ability to move freely together through different dimensions, and by the genuine expression of their own personalities in various situations, styles, and dynamics." – Lionel Hoche
