This fringed capelet from a blue Cantonese opera costume is embellished with pink and silver sequins and bugle beads. Large lotus motifs are positioned in front of each shoulder, with horizontal lines running underneath. Sequined stars decorate the remainder of the jacket, with sequined rings around a stand-up collar. The white and blue two-toned fringe appears to have been dip-dyed, with two blue rings around tassel heads. Snap fasteners close the jacket down the front.
