Remco was a New Jersey based toy company founded in the 1940s, most famous for plastic toys and games produced during the 1950s and 1960s. The firm is best remembered for large-scale playsets like the Johnny Reb Cannon and Mighty Matilda Aircraft Carrier. However, it produced a wide range of games such as 1962's Fascination Checkers. A variant of checkers, this game operates on a 10 x 10 grid. Simple strategy games such as this appealed to a broad audience.
