Boats

Contoured and synthetically rendered, four boats with bulbous hulls and tall masts, depicted one above the other against a shimmering water surface. The flickering surface of the water is suggested through diagonally intersecting strokes and quadrilateral patches of wash, with varying degrees of tonal intensity, darker in the lower part of the composition.
