The Boeing 737, originally developed in 1965, was a short-range commercial aircraft. This is the only aircraft type utilized by Southwest Airlines. This particular 737-200, Ship 102, retired from service in 2004. With most of the aircraft dismantled for scrap, the gracious employees of Southwest Airlines salvaged the nose section and restored it for display in the Museum for visitors of all ages to enjoy.
