Bolsena Archaeological Project Excavation Trench

The Northwest Bolsena Archaeological Project (NWBAP), directed by Dr. Lea Cline and Dr. Kathryn Jasper, is focused on the site of Valle Gianni. Located in the environs of the small town of Gradoli, the site of Valle Gianni contains the remains of a monumental fountain (possibly a nymphaeum), evidence of a medium scale wine production site, and, potentially, a villa structure.
