Bosch APAS assistant

The Bosch APAS assistant is the first robot system to receive the "Human-Robot-Collaboration" certificate from the professional association. The sensor skin technology actually allows hand-in-hand work between man and machine. When the human approaches the robot arm to a distance of 50 mm, the robot stops in its movement without any contact. In a research project, the use of APAS itself was tested in a workshop for people with disabilities. With great success.
