JS Pro Surfboard bottom view

This surfboard was actually shaped for world champion surfer Joel Parkinson, but ended up under the feet of Junior world champion Jack freestone. The board has only been lightly surfed yet is probably only one surf away from breaking in two (it has some serious creases in the foam). This is an indication of how, for modern competitive surfers, strength is sacrificed for performance.
