Boys in the open air

What is expressed here is the painter's love for childhood, portrayed with no rhetoric. Spadini stays in close contact with reality. This is demonstrated by this work, that dates to 1915, in which two children are portrayed, one smaller and the other one a few years older, while pensively wondering through a park.
