Under a unique agreement with British Airways and Air France, Braniff Airlines offered Concorde service between DFW and London/Paris. The service began on January 12, 1979, when two supersonic Concorde commercial jets landed simultaneously on parallel runways at DFW. The late museum volunteer, Braniff Captain Ken Larson, piloted one of these remarkable aircraft on this historic day.
