The two-part bridal outfit consists of a European style skirt and blouse made of cream-coloured satin. The blouse is boned and tailored, with leg-of-mutton sleeves and a stand-up collar, and fastens at the side with hooks and eyes. The skirt is şared with a long train. There are chiffon appliqué panels with heavy beadwork decoration on the front of both skirt and blouse. The neck, sleeve ends and skirt hem are trimmed with beaded braid. Lace and rufşes are sewn all around the underside of the hem.Reference: Görünür, L., Osmanlı İmparatorluğu'nun Son Döneminden Kadın Giysileri, Sadberk Hanım Müzesi Koleksiyonu / Women's Costume of the Late Ottoman Era from the Sadberk Hanım Museum Collection, Sadberk Hanım Museum Publication, İstanbul 2010, pp. 210,211.
