One in a pair of Norwegian dolls, carved with wooden heads. Both the bride doll and the groom doll are dressed in the national wedding costume of Hardanger. The bride is wearing a white shirt, with a red embroidered dress and a tall gold-tone hat with red flet and multicolored sequins, a white apron in the front and leather boots. Presented to Eleanor Roosevelt in June 7, 1950, by Hilda S. Ege of Oslo, Norway. FDR Library Museum Collection, MO 1951.11.11.1.
