Rose red brocade "throw" or "coverlet." Edged in metallic braid with an antique gold cotton lining. The throw was purchased by Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt in Venice while they were on their honeymoon in 1905. FDR Library Museum Collection, MO 1972.20.
