National treasures. Dohoko, or bronze spearheads buried along with dotaku were made not as weapons but as ceremonial implements. 'Togiwake' is a special way of polishing and adds to the visual effect. Its use suggests too that they were used for ceremonial use. This polishing method was also a feature of dohoko made in the northern Kyusyu region.
