Brook Watson

A hand-coloured etching of Brook Watson (1735-1807) walking in profile to the right. His right hand is in his coat-pocket and he wears a round hat, double-breasted coat, frilled shirt and breeches. His wooden leg is prominently shown and he is holding a walking-stick in his left hand.

Watson was a British merchant, soldier, and Lord Mayor of London.
