Oscillating device – tuning fork with frequency of 360 Hz, powered by transistor electronic oscillating circuit.
Steel case with inserted acrylic glass through which movement is visible. White marks for hours and minutes and tuning fork symbol at 12 o'clock are painted on the glass. Crown for hands setting is placed on the case cover next to the battery, and not on the case rim as usual.
First electronic watch, in production from 1960 until 1977. After the World War II Bulova started marking its movement with letters and numbers, different for each year. M8 indicated 1968 as production year.
