Bust of Gilberto Concepción de Gracia placed in the Vega Alta town square to recognize his contributions as an advocate for the rights of Puerto Ricans. A journalist with knowledge of laws and editorials, he emigrated to the mainland United States, where he spread awareness about the social issues plaguing the people of the island. He was also one of the founders of the Puerto Rican Independence Party, which he presided over until his death.
