Ancient picture, taken in 1907, of the lower station of the Cable Car of the Monte Ulía in the beginnig of a trip. The Cable Car of the Monte Ulía was the first aerial tram suitable for the public transportation of people. It was created by Leonardo Torres Quevedo in 1907 and built in a hill near San Sebastián, the Monte Ulía.
The route of the aerial tram of the Monte Ulía went over 280 metres in length, with a slope of 28 metres. It took a bit longer than 3 minutes a up to 18 people could board on it.
