This stamp produced by the National Wildlife Federation as part of their National Wildlife Conservation Stamps program. The design for this cactus wren stamp was made by Roger Tory Peterson who also served for a period of time as art director of the conservation stamp program. The National Wildlife Federation produced conservation stamps from the 1930s-1990s to promote and raise funds for their mission and work.
