Calfskin on sticks

This is a piece of calfskin attached to a kite-shaped framework of twigs. It is made by men when a calf dies. They use the dead calf's skin and the married women take it with them and the women take it with them when they milk the mother so that she can smell her calf and will then let her milk down.
