La Calle de la Moneda, is called like this for its location in the historical Santafé's mint. It was built in the XVI Century by order of the Spanish King Felipe III. The adaptation and implementation of this artwork was held by Alonso Turrillo de Yebran, an military ingeneer and architect of the Spanish Crown from that period of time.
